Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecast continued scattered thunderstorms across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected to fall on parts of the governorates of Dhale'a, Ibb, Taiz, Dhamar, Amran, Mahwit, and the western parts of Sana'a and Saada.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely to fall on parts of the governorates of Hajjah and Raymah, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Bayda, Shabwah, Hadhramaut, and the Tihama plain.
The center indicated the possibility of strong to very strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Taiz over the past 24 hours was 7.2 mm, Lahj-Tur Al-Baha: 4.4 mm, Ibb: 2.5 mm, Raymah: 1.4 mm, and Mahwit: 0.3 mm.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms and of being in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall. It also warned of mudslides, rockslides, and poor visibility on mountain roads.
It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
