SANA'A, Aug. 26 (Saba) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf has sent a cable of congratulations to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

In the cable sent Wednesday, Sharaf congratulated Amir-Abdollahian for obtaining the confidence of the Iranian Shura Council to occupy the position of Foreign Minister in the government of President Ebrahim Raisi.

 

Minister Sharaf expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen communication with its Iranian counterpart to develop areas of cooperation between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

 

The Minister also extended an official invitation to his Iranian counterpart to visit Yemen at a time to be agreed upon through the recognized official diplomatic channels.
