OCCUPIED AL-QUDS June 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club called on Wednesday on the international community to urgently intervene and stand by the Palestinian people in the West Bank, where the crimes of the Zionist enemy are escalating in an unprecedented manner since the beginning of the genocidal war against the afflicted Gaza Strip.
The Authority and the Club said in a joint statement today on the occasion of the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture: The aggression on the Gaza Strip has led to an escalation of Zionist attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank, where the Zionist enemy forces have arrested more than 9,400 Palestinians, in addition to the arrest of thousands of people from the Gaza Strip and hundreds of Palestinians from the occupied territories in 1948, until the number of martyrs under torture in its prisons reached about 60, including 40 prisoners from the Strip.
The statement pointed out that the enemy's crimes begin from the first moment of arrest through the brutal method of arrest, severe beatings, and deliberately leaving them without treatment in the prisons, coinciding with the systematic psychological and physical torture operations.
