Washington - Saba: The US Army announced on Tuesday, the death of one of its soldiers last week due to serious wounds sustained during the summer "during a mission on the naval pier established by Washington in Gaza."
The American network "CNN" said that Sergeant Quandarius Davon Stanley, 23, was one of three US service members who were claimed to have been injured "in non-combat incidents" during the mission, although two immediately returned to duty after sustaining minor injuries.
The spokesman for the US Army's Third Expeditionary Support Command, Captain Shakila Milford Glover, said yesterday, Monday: "Stanley was injured in Gaza in May 2024, and was receiving treatment at a long-term care medical center."
