The Brazilian defender Eider Militau suffers a cut in his knee's cross binder, Rial Madrid said late on Saturday.

The injury was diagnosed after medical tests the footballer underwent on Saturday under the medical staff's supervision, the Spanish club added in a statement on its website.

The Brazilian defender will undergo a surgery in the upcoming days, according to the statement.
