Japanese retail giant 7&I has officially announced the closure of all eight of its branches in the occupied Palestinian territories due to the Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip.
Kyodo quoted the company as saying in a report today: "The reason for stopping its activities is the continued Zionist attacks on Gaza Strip, which has led to insecurity in the region."
7&I, in cooperation with an American company, opened its first store in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) in January 2022, and was in the process of opening more stores throughout the OPT over the next six years.
The large Japanese company was founded in 2005 and has extensive activities in various fields of retail, financial services, restaurants and real estate, and has a chain of stores around the world, offering a variety of food , beverage products and home appliances.
It is noteworthy that many major international companies have stopped their activities inside the Israeli occupation entity as a result of its continued aggression against Gaza Strip and its aggression against the region countries .
