Vienna - Saba:
UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine, Francesca Albanese, stressed on Sunday that the time has come to take the necessary measures and do everything possible to stop the ongoing Zionist "brutality" in the Gaza Strip.
This came in a speech during her participation in a conference at the University of Vienna, Austria, under the title (Israeli War: Colonial Ethnic Cleansing).
Albanese stressed that the Zionist enemy is committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
She added: "What is happening in Gaza cannot be described as just a war, as there are rules for wars as well, but what is happening there is total destruction."
With American support, the Zionist enemy has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 150,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
The Zionist enemy continues its massacres, ignoring two arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court on November 21 against Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians in Gaza.
The Zionist enemy also defies the UN Security Council resolution to end the war immediately, and the International Court of Justice's orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
