The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, and the Governor of Dhamar, Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti, inspected today the progress of the educational process in several schools and institutes in Dhamar city, as part of efforts to enhance the quality of education and develop its structure.
The Minister and the Governor visited the Model School of Technology and Applied Sciences, where they were briefed on its modern equipment and objectives in qualifying an innovative and productive generation. Minister Al-Saadi praised the exemplary initiative of the governorate's leadership in establishing the school as a qualitative leap in education that meets the requirements of development.
The delegation also inspected the educational process at the Martyr Abdulaziz Abdul Ghani and Asma Girls' Schools, in addition to the central workshop for the manufacture of school seats, which produces 1,500 seats to meet the needs of the governorate's schools. Al-Saadi praised the efforts of the educational sector in developing the educational process despite the challenges, calling for redoubling efforts to improve education outcomes and expand the productivity of the workshop.
In the same context, the Minister and the Governor were briefed on the technical workshops in technical and technical education institutes, including cybersecurity and graphics workshops, and the progress of the educational process at Al-Darb Community College. Al-Saadi stressed the importance of these institutes and colleges in training cadres that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market.
The delegation concluded their tour by visiting the Martyrs' Exhibition and Kindergarten, where they read Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs, stressing the importance of enhancing interest in education as the basis for the renaissance of society.
