The Russian Defense announced Sunday that its forces liberated two new towns in Donetsk during the last day, and destroyed a warplane and several components of the Patriot air defense system belonging to the Ukrainian army.
The Russian Defense said in its daily report, according to what was reported by the "Russia Today" website: Units of the "South" forces group liberated the town of Vesyuly Gai in Donetsk, and the Ukrainian army lost about 400 soldiers in the "South" group's area of responsibility.
In turn, units of the "Center" forces group liberated the town of Pushkino in Donetsk as well, while Ukrainian losses in its area of responsibility exceeded 280 soldiers.
According to Russian Defense data, the total Ukrainian human losses in the last 24 hours reached about 1,525 soldiers.
