The Yemeni Media Union condemned the Zionist enemy's targeting of Al-Mashhad Channel correspondent, Palestinian journalist Mohammed Balousha, with a drone on Ahmed Yassin Street in Al-Saftawi neighborhood, north of the Gaza Strip, which led to his immediate martyrdom.
The union condemned, in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the targeting of photojournalist Shadi Al-Salfiti, who was martyred as a result of a Zionist bombing that targeted a group of citizens in the vicinity of the industrial area west of Gaza City.
The statement stated that the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 196 martyrs since the war of extermination on October 7, 2023, condemning these brutal practices against correspondents of the Palestinian cause who convey to the world, by voice and image, an injustice that history has never witnessed before, who have shouldered a great responsibility that embodies the meanings of loyalty to God and their homeland in the face of the most brutal aggression.
The union called on the silent world to review its orientations and stand seriously and stand up for humanity and stop these brutal massacres by the Zionist aggression machine against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip, and work to convey the pain of children, women and innocents to the ears of the international community, which will remain a witness to the extent of the catastrophe against the afflicted Palestinian people.
