Hajjah governor Hilal al-Sufi inaugurated on Sunday the electronic collection system at the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in Hajjah, marking a shift to the unified accounting system in the province.
The initiative aligns with the Ministry of Finance's plan to enhance public financial management by automating financial operations across government bodies and units. This includes completing network integration and implementing electronic systems to improve efficiency.
Governor al-Sufi highlighted the importance of this step in streamlining revenue management and eliminating the use of manual collection vouchers.
He praised the Ministry of Finance's efforts to minimize errors, promote transparency, and strengthen oversight.
Hamza Sharaf al-Din, the Executive Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, emphasized the benefits of the electronic collection system, particularly in saving time and effort while providing easy access to daily and monthly financial reports
