Sana'a - Saba:
The local authority in Capital Secretariat and the Bunyan Development Foundation concluded on Sunday a training course for development knights in the field of development work within the Volunteer Support Program for 90 trainees from the districts of Sha'ab, Al-Thawra and Al-Wahda.
The ten-day course, funded by the Secretariat's Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit, aimed to provide trainees with the basics of voluntary work, development resources, community initiatives and urban development.
For his part, Engineer Abdulmalik Al-Insi, Director of the Agricultural Projects Financing Unit at the Secretariat, explained that community initiatives contribute greatly to alleviating the suffering of the community and providing its needs for services with minimal means, in addition to their role in supporting official efforts.
He urged the trainees to reflect the knowledge they received in practical reality, to bring about a real developmental renaissance in the districts of Sha'ab, Al-Thawra and Al-Wahda, noting that each participant represents a real nucleus for the development of community and developmental work.
