Hajjah - Saba:
A training course in the field of livestock and animal husbandry, organized by the Training and Empowerment Department at the branch of the General Authority for Martyrs' Families Welfare in coordination with Rawafed Institute for Training and Development, began on Sunday in Hajjah province.
The eight-day course aims to empower 148 female trainees from the families of martyrs and missing persons in Weshha district in the field of livestock breeding.
At the opening, the director of the Authority's branch in the province, Mutahar Safieddine, explained the importance of this course in enhancing the economic capabilities of martyrs' families, pointing to the ongoing support of the Authority to empower martyrs' families economically by training and qualifying them on sustainable and income-generating projects.
For his part, the director of the directorate, Abdul Quddus Al-Khashib, praised the efforts exerted in raising the economic , social level of the martyrs' families and missing persons in the directorate.
The training and empowerment officer at the authority's branch, Ali Al-Ashul, noted that the course includes the centers of Al-Rabua, Ghareb Haitham, Mashaybah, Al-Jabal, and Al-Hawthar to ensure that the largest possible number of families in different areas benefit.
He said the participants will receive knowledge about livestock breeding, health care, nutrition and project management.
