Liverpool regained the lead in the English Premier League with a resounding 6-3 victory over Tottenham last night, in the 17th round of the competition.
Liverpool's goals were scored by Luis Diaz (two goals), Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah (two goals), in the 23rd, 36th, (45+1), 54th, 61st and 85th minutes, while James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke scored Tottenham's hat-trick in the 41st, 72nd and 83rd minutes.
With this victory, Liverpool raised its score to 39 points at the top of the English Premier League table, four points ahead of Chelsea, the second-placed team, which tied with Everton without goals.. while Tottenham remained in 11th place with 23 points.
