Hajjah - Saba:
The Public Prosecution in Hajjah province on Thursday approved the release of 75 prisoners who have served three-quarters or half of their sentences, provided they pose no threat to society and have the necessary guarantees.
Judge Abdullah al-Ahmar, head of the province's appeal prosecution, explained that these decisions were made during a recent field visit by him and the prosecutors' deputies to inspect the central reformatory, remand prisons, and detention centers in Hajjah city and its surrounding districts.
This visit took place over the past two days and was part of a broader effort to implement directives from the Attorney General and the Public Prosecution's action plan.
During the inspection, the prosecution reviewed prisoner records, listened to officials about detainee management, and informed prisoners about their detention periods and requests.
Al-Ahmar emphasized the Public Prosecution's commitment to investigating and following up on cases to ensure justice is served.
