The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday the elimination of 1,360 Ukrainian military personnel and the destruction of dozens of military vehicles in the past 24 hours.

The Russian daily defense statement on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine indicated that its forces were able to repel a number of attacks by Ukrainian forces on various axes of fighting.

The statement confirmed that the Russian air defenses were able to shoot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter, and four "Hemars" missiles were shot down, three "Hummer" air bombs, in addition to shooting down 174 Ukrainian drones.
