Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting in Sana'a, chaired by Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Samir Baja'ala, discussed the role of the Yemeni Red Crescent (YRC) and its plan to address disasters and emergencies.
The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Ibrahim Al-Hamli, Assistant Undersecretary for the Social Welfare Sector Yasser Sharaf Al-Din, and several Red Crescent leaders, also discussed several issues related to humanitarian work.
In the meeting, Minister Baja'ala stressed the importance of combining the efforts of all government agencies, institutions, and civil society organizations concerned with assisting those affected by any accidents or natural disasters, especially in light of the ongoing aggression and siege.
He praised the role of the Yemeni Red Crescent in alleviating human suffering, noting that the government of change and construction was able to solve many problems in a short period and achieve successes that serve the citizens.
