Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met on Tuesday with Resident Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Yemen Marin Kajdomkaj.
In the meeting, the Foreign Minister stressed the need for the Commission to undertake and contribute to improving the conditions of the camps for the displaced, as they suffer from a severe shortage of shelter, water and health services.

Minister Amer expressed hope that the projects implemented by the Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees would cover the needs of local communities surrounding refugee gathering areas.
In turn, the Resident Representative of the Commission stated that the projects implemented for refugees take into account the needs of local communities and provide services to them.
