Arsenal achieved a valuable victory over its host Wolverhampton by one goal without a response, in the match that brought the two teams together last night, within the competitions of the 23rd round of the English Premier League.
The only goal of the match came through substitute Riccardo Calafiori in the 74th minute, as Arsenal returned to the path of victories after three consecutive draws.
With this result, Arsenal continued to chase Liverpool, the leader, by reaching 47 points in second place, while Wolves stopped at 16 points in 17th place.
In a second match, Everton continued its awakening in the English Premier League under the leadership of Scottish coach David Moyes, by achieving a valuable victory over its host Brighton by one goal in the same round.
Everton achieved its second consecutive victory thanks to a goal by Senegalese Iliman Ndiaye from a penalty kick in the 42nd minute.
Everton raised its score to 23 points in 16th place, while Brighton is in ninth place with 34 points.
