Beirut – Saba:
The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, said on Sunday that the Lebanese state is fully responsible for following, pressuring, and advocating through sponsors and international pressure to stop the Zionist violations and aggression against Lebanon.
Lebanese media reported on recent developments in southern Lebanon and the arrangements for the funeral of former Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in a speech.
Sheikh Naim Qassem stated, "We believe that the Lebanese state is completely responsible for monitoring and exerting pressure through its sponsors to put an end to this violation and Zionist aggression." He added, "These are not merely violations; they represent preliminary aggression, and the Lebanese state must respond to them firmly."
He added, "Since the United States considers itself a sponsor, it should be pressured to adhere to the agreement." Sheikh Naim Qassem concluded, "Resistance is a path and a choice, and we will act according to our assessment at the appropriate time."
He pointed out that "there is a counter-campaign sponsored by the United States, Israel, and other foreign countries, alongside an internal team that promotes defeat."
He added, "We did not discuss absolute victory, as this is a battle of gains and losses."
He continued, "Our people understand that they have won in some areas and lost in others.
We are discussing a type of victory that relates to steadfastness, breaking the Israeli invasion, and the enemy's inability to end the resistance."
Sheikh Naim Qassem emphasized that "the return of the people from the south represents a strong position for popular liberation and a noble effort to reclaim the land."
He added, "We are witnessing a legendary steadfastness that is rarely seen in resistance movements."
Hezbollah's Secretary-General stated that "the proud people, alongside their resistance and army, are the ones who liberated Lebanon."
