The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, discussed in his meeting with the head and members of the Supreme Supervisory Committee for the evaluation of postgraduate programs in private higher education institutions, the progress of the evaluation work for 86 academic programs in the master's and doctoral courses distributed among seventeen private universities.
Minister Al-Saadi, in the presence of his deputy, Dr. Hatem Al-Dais, listened to an explanation from the head of the committee, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, about the field trip that lasted two weeks, to examine the documents and reports that went through the licensing processes, and to ensure that the requirements and follow-up for postgraduate programs are met.
The Minister praised the efforts made by the committees in preparing standards , guides and completing the field trip phase to evaluate postgraduate programs in private education institutions objectively , professionally according to the approved standards and terms of reference in a way that contributes to the repositioning of these programs in an appropriate manner.
The Education and Scientific Research Minister urged the committee to focus on the criteria of establishment, verification, follow-up and ascertaining the criteria of "the mission, objectives and learning outcomes of the academic program, the structure and management of the academic program.
