Deputy Governor of Ibb Mohammed al-Shabibi on Monday launched the distribution of in-kind Zakat from grain crops to 1,500 needy families in Hubaish district.
The project, implemented under the slogan "And give its due on the day of its harvest," aims to provide essential food assistance to vulnerable families in the district.
The Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of performing the Zakat duty and its role in alleviating poverty and supporting those in need.
He also called upon citizens to fulfill their zakat obligations to support the community and contribute to the well-being of all.
The Zakat Authority branch in the directorate will distribute 1,500 cups of various grains to eligible beneficiaries.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the local authorities to supporting vulnerable populations and promoting social justice within the community.
