The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas renewed its confirmation today, Monday, that Gaza is not a property that can be bought and sold, and that US President Donald Trump's statements regarding "buying and owning Gaza" are absurd and reflect a deep ignorance of Palestine and the region.
Member of the Political Bureau of Hamas Izzat al-Rishq denounced Trump's statements regarding "buying and owning Gaza" in statements reported by the official website of Hamas, stressing that Gaza is not a property that can be bought and sold, and it is an integral part of our occupied Palestinian land.
He pointed out that dealing with the Palestinian issue with the mentality of a real estate dealer is a recipe for failure, stressing that our Palestinian people will foil all displacement and deportation plans, and that Gaza belongs to its people, and they will not leave it except to their cities and villages occupied in 1948.
