Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting was held in Sana'a on Monday, which included Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Jamal Amer, the Secretary of the Capital and a number of provincial governors.

The meeting discussed projects allocated to the capital and provinces funded by UN and international organizations to improve the level of services provided to citizens.

In the meeting, which was attended by the Secretary of the Capital, Hamoud Abad, the governors of Dhamar, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, Hodeida, Abdullah Atifi, Amran, Dr. Faisal Juman, Marib, Ali Ta'ayman, Sa'ada, Mohammed Awad, acting governor of Taiz, Ahmed al-Masawi, acting governor of Dhale', Abdullatif al-Shegdari, undersecretaries of administration, local and rural development, Jamal al-Alawi and Mutahar al-Mawri, Minister Amer stressed the importance of the role of governors in sustainable practical development.

He pointed to the need to create the right environment for the success of sustainable development in cooperation with the relevant organizations in order to benefit the most needy communities according to the real needs of the local community as a result of the blockade imposed on Yemen for more than ten years, with a focus on finding national alternatives.

For their part, the governors of the participating provinces stressed the importance of coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates through the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development, other relevant ministries and donors so that the implementation of foreign-funded projects does not face any administrative and field obstacles in accordance with the five rules governing the work of UN and international organizations.
