The United Nations condemned today, Wednesday, the storming of schools by the "Zionist" occupation forces of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Quds.
The United Nations considered the storming of schools affiliated with UNRWA in occupied Quds a violation of the sanctity of United Nations facilities, according to what was reported by the Palestine Today Agency
It also confirmed that firing tear gas and sound bombs in an educational environment while students are in classrooms is unacceptable.
The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said yesterday that the storming of UNRWA schools in Quds and Qalandia on Tuesday by the Zionist police and the order to close them "constitutes a violation of the basic right to education, as well as a violation of the privileges and immunities of the United Nations."
