The former Palestinian Minister of Prisoners, Issa Qaraqe, said that the recent prisoner release deal "broke all the unfair standards of the occupation, and released large numbers of them and released prisoners and wounded.
He added that what is being released from prisoners during the first phase batches; and what can be completed in the second phase; is considered the largest and most massive in the history of the prisoner movement.
