Liverpool won two clean goals against its counterpart Manchester City, in the match that took place at the Etihad Stadium, on Sunday evening, in the 26th round of the English Premier League.
Liverpool's first goal came through its Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah in the 14th minute.
Omar Marmoush equalized for City in the 30th minute, but the goal was canceled due to offside after returning to video technology.
Then Dominik Szoboszlai added the second goal in the 37th minute from Mohamed Salah's assist.
With this result, Liverpool strengthened its lead in the English Premier League standings, with 64 points, 11 points ahead of runner-up Arsenal (53 points), while Manchester City occupies fourth place with 44 points.
