Today, Monday, a new batch of Palestinian patients and wounded left Gaza through the Rafah land crossing in the southern part of the Strip.

According to the Palestinian "Safa" Agency, the 22nd batch of patients and wounded from the Gaza Strip left this morning through the Rafah land crossing.

The travel of patients and wounded outside the Strip comes in implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement that entered into force on January 19.

The Gaza Strip is suffering from a severe humanitarian crisis as a result of the genocidal war waged by "Israel" over the course of 15 months since October 7, 2023, targeting hospitals and medical staff and preventing the entry of medical equipment, supplies and medicines, which led to the deterioration of health conditions and a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies.
