Gaza - Saba:
The Israeli occupation army launched two airstrikes on the northwestern area of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that went into effect on January 19.
The occupation forces continued to violate the agreement, as Israel announced the delay of the release of the seventh batch of Palestinian prisoners, claiming that Hamas insulted the Israeli prisoners.
Since the agreement began, the occupation has killed 100 Palestinians injured 820 others, and obstructed the implementation of the provisions of the "humanitarian protocol" related to the ceasefire. Israeli violations include delaying the return of displaced persons to the northern Gaza Strip, targeting Palestinians with shelling and gunfire, and obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid and health needs.
The ceasefire agreement consists of three stages, each of 42 days, with the condition that the next stage be negotiated before the completion of the current stage. However, the occupation prevents implementing the requirements of the first stage, which increases tension and delays the peace process in the region.
