Geneva - Saba:
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) expressed its deep concern on Monday over the ongoing Israeli aggression on the northern West Bank, which has entered its second month, stressing its serious impact on Palestinian civilians.
The committee explained that the military operations directly affect the residents of Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas, making it more difficult for them to obtain clean water, food, medical care, and shelter, while the displaced face additional challenges, such as losing family members or their arrest.
The committee confirmed that it is working with the Palestine Red Crescent Society to distribute aid and coordinate medical evacuations, stressing the urgent need for humanitarian support. It also renewed its call for the protection of civilians and their humane treatment by international law.
