The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, on Wednesday said "the funeral of the martyrs of the resistance dealt a crushing blow to the illusions of the criminal Zionist gang and America behind it, who imagine that by killing children, women and defenseless men, they can extinguish the burning flame that burned them."
"I commemorate the memory of the martyrs of the resistance, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, who not only lived every moment of their lives and struggle, but whose martyrdom and unforgettable glorious funeral were a symbol of the dignity, greatness, life, pride, vitality and continuous movement of the resistance fighters," Mousavi added at the graduation ceremony of the 34th Defense Management Course of the Army Command and Staff College on Wednesday morning, according to Mehr News Agency.
The Army Commander-in-Chief added: "The funeral of the martyrs of the resistance dealt a crushing blow to the illusions of the criminal Zionist gang and America behind it, who imagine that by killing children, women and defenseless men, they can extinguish the burning flame that burned them."
"There is no doubt that every bomb they throw is like gasoline that fuels the fire of holy anger among the righteous and brings the evil Zionist germ closer to turning into ashes."
"The threats of the enemies to the country, the armed forces and the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, thanks to God, and the wise measures of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, have become an opportunity to strengthen our armed forces in quantity and quality and to be better prepared to carry out missions with greater success," he added.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army stressed: "In honoring our comrades in the Air Force and Air Defense Forces, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces said; If our enemies threaten us, we will threaten them, and if they carry out the threat, we will carry out the threat. If they attack the security of our nation, we will undoubtedly attack their security."
