Beirut - Saba:
The Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, emphasized that the resistance is rooted and its people are solid and sincere, ready to stand in adversity, and will not allow the Israeli enemy to continue the aggression, stressing that "we will not stop the resistance no matter what you do."
"The new equations will not allow us to let them take root in the enemy's way, but we must establish an equation that protects our future," he said, explaining, "We are in a new stage in which the constants have not changed, but the methods, times have," and emphasized that the resistance is now more heroic and determined than the time when it fought.
In an interview with Al-Manar TV on Sunday, the Secretary-General added that "the participation of people in the funeral of the master of the nation's martyrs, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and his Hashemite companion, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, was exceptional, as if they were saying that we are continuing and that we are on the covenant, Nasrallah."
He pointed out that "the funeral is not for two people who left, but for the future, and this is a link between the two secretaries general and the future in which we will continue with the people."
He added, "The funeral is a declaration of victory as we believe that we continued and persevered until the last moment until the agreement took place," stressing that "the resistance is an idea that runs in the minds and is rooted , and its audience is solid and sincere, ready to stand in adversity," stressing that "the enemies dream of defeating this people because they are in the field and precede everyone."
He thanked the Palestinians, Yemenis, Tunisians and all parties for their participation in the funeral.
"The last time I had a direct meeting with His Eminence in the presence of a number of Shura members was on Sept. 18," he said.
"The last contact with His Eminence was on Sept. 21. He called me and told me that Haj Ibrahim Aqeel was martyred and asked me to pray at his funeral and speak on the occasion."
"This agreement is part of 1701 to end the aggression and the 'Israeli enemy' has to withdraw and all the aggression committed violations," he added.
On the issue of Iranian aviation, he said, "The issue of Iranian aviation is one that we are following up on." He added, "We are in favor of restoring flights to Iran for several considerations, the first of which is that it is a friendly country, and we will follow up on the issue with the Lebanese state."
"It is not in Lebanon's interest to listen to any American directives and the Israeli enemy," Sheikh Qassem said. He pointed out that "we entered the government despite the words of the American envoy, we chose the President of the Republic by consensus, and our relationship with him is warm and positive."
