The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted aerial targets, including a MiG-29 fighter jet belonging to the Ukrainian forces, along with 50 drones.
In a statement issued by the Russian news agency Sputnik on Monday, the Ministry said that its air defense systems shot down five guided aerial bombs of the "JDAM" type, seven American-made "HIMARS" rockets, and 50 drones.
The statement added: "Units of the Russian Western Military District reinforced their tactical positions and targeted personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian armed forces in the towns of Kondrashovka, Zagoroyikovka, Moranachinovka, Grokhovatka, and Podvisokoy in the Kharkiv region."
The losses of the enemy amounted to approximately 210 soldiers, two armored fighting vehicles, five cars, a field artillery piece of Western-made design, and the destruction of an American-made electronic warfare station.
