Tulkarm - Saba:
The Zionist enemy forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 48th consecutive day, and for the 35th day against Nour Shams Camp, amid an unprecedented escalation that includes intensive raids on homes and forcible displacement of residents.
The siege and incursions continue amidst military reinforcements and punitive measures against Palestinians.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that loud explosions were heard at dawn on Saturday in the area surrounding the woods in Nour Shams camp, coinciding with a heavy deployment of Israeli soldiers. Tongues of smoke were seen rising from the area, while the windows of nearby vehicles and homes were shattered and their contents damaged. No injuries were reported among civilians.
Enemy forces also fired live ammunition at an ambulance as it headed to Nour Shams camp to evacuate a patient, preventing it from reaching the ambulance.
Enemy soldiers raided and searched homes in the al-Mahjar neighborhood of the camp, while infantry units deployed in the Jabal al-Nasr neighborhood. They blew up one of the gates of the al-Nasr Mosque in the camp amid heavy gunfire. They also set fire to the home of Yasser Muqbil in the al-Manshiya neighborhood, burning parts of the house and causing extensive material damage.
In Tulkarm camp, local sources reported that Israeli forces deployed foot patrols in the Abu al-Foul and Qaqoun neighborhoods of Tulkarm camp, raiding homes, breaking down doors, and wreaking havoc. They also fired sound bombs to terrorize residents. They also seized additional homes and converted them into military barracks.
In the Muqata'a neighborhood, Israeli forces arrested Nizar al-Tawil and his son Ahmed after assaulting them. They detained them for more than 12 hours before releasing them in the early hours of the morning. Several other citizens were also subjected to abuse during the raids on their homes.
In the Iktaba suburb, infantry units were deployed in the Employees' Housing area, specifically the area opposite Nour Shams camp. They raided citizens' homes, conducted extensive searches, and subjected residents to field interrogations.
Meanwhile, enemy forces deployed military reinforcements toward the city and its two camps, passing through its main streets. They obstructed the movement of citizens and vehicles, and reinforced their heavy machinery and bulldozers in front of buildings they had seized on Nablus Street, turning them into military barracks, and around the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps. They set up mobile checkpoints to restrict Palestinian movement.
These attacks come in the context of the ongoing escalation by the Zionist enemy forces in the city of Tulkarm and its two camps, which has resulted in the deaths of 13 citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens more have been injured and arrested, and more than 12,000 citizens have been forcibly displaced from Nour Shams camp and another 12,000 from Tulkarm camp.
The occupier also left widespread destruction to infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles, which were completely or partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen.
