Gaza - Saba:
Mediators are continuing their efforts to extend the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which began approximately 55 days ago, with the aim of initiating the second phase of the agreement following the end of the first phase, which continues with Israeli violations.
Palestinian media reported that a Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo yesterday to hold talks with Egyptian officials regarding the latest US proposals and the Egyptian-Arab plan.
Media outlets added that Hamas submitted its response to the mediators yesterday regarding the American proposal, with amendments that initially stipulated the handover of an Israeli prisoner with American citizenship and the bodies of four dual nationals.
The Zionist entity rejected Hamas's response and confirmed that it is open to the American proposal to release five living prisoners and ten bodies.
The war criminal Prime Minister of the Zionist entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, will hold extensive security discussions today in the presence of the negotiating team that returned from Doha yesterday, with the aim of reviewing the situation and determining the next steps.
