Human rights and student organizations continued their protests in several US cities last night to demand the release of Palestinian student and activist Mahmoud Khalil and to reject his arrest.
According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, the organizations considered Khalil's arrest a clear violation of freedom of expression guaranteed by US law.
Solidarity demonstrations continue, demanding Khalil's immediate release and condemning government policies of persecuting students and activists defending Palestinian rights and rejecting the crimes committed against the Palestinian people.
