Gaza - Saba:
The Palestinian Center for Missing and Enforced Disappeared Persons (PCMDEP) expressed deep concern over the increasing number of missing persons in the Gaza Strip, against the backdrop of the renewed Israeli aggression since dawn on Tuesday, March 18, which was accompanied by heavy shelling.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the center warned of the risk of further cases of enforced disappearance, especially after the Israeli occupation army announced its incursion into new areas inside the Gaza Strip and threatened to expand ground operations.

The center explained that this increases the likelihood of Palestinian civilians being detained in unknown locations without their fate being revealed, which constitutes a grave violation of international humanitarian law.
