The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, warned that "hunger is on the rise in Gaza."
He said, "No humanitarian aid has entered Gaza for more than three weeks, the longest period the Strip has gone without any supplies since the beginning of the Israeli war of extermination."
