Israeli warplanes continued their bombardment of various areas in the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians on the 26th day of the resumption of hostilities.
Palestinian media reported that the Israeli army announced the completion of control of the Morag axis, which separates Rafah and Khan Younis, a 12-kilometer stretch, completely isolating Rafah city from the rest of the Gaza Strip.
Media reported that enemy soldiers opened fire on the Al-Mawasi area north of Rafah, and aircraft carried out an airstrike that resulted in the death of a Palestinian citizen.
In Khan Younis, another 52-year-old Palestinian was killed in an airstrike that targeted a tent housing displaced persons west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Four other citizens were also injured.
Earlier, a Palestinian citizen was killed and 14 others were injured in the bombing of a tent housing displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis. Meanwhile, villages east of Khan Younis were subjected to continuous shelling, with new evacuation orders issued.
In the central Gaza Strip, several Palestinian civilians were injured when warplanes bombed the home of the Muslim family behind the Sultan Palace Hall in the Maghazi refugee camp.
Two Palestinian civilians were killed earlier in the bombing of Al-Mazra'a Street in Deir al-Balah.
In Gaza and the north, two martyrs and several others were injured when a home belonging to Akram Nabhan was targeted east of Jabalia al-Balad in the northern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army bombed the home of the Kahil family on Al-Nakhil Street in the Al-Sha'af area east of Gaza City, killing two Palestinians.
Three Palestinians were killed and several others were injured when a gathering of civilians was bombed on Al-Nazzaz Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City. A citizen was also killed in an artillery attack on the same neighborhood.
The Israeli occupation army issued evacuation orders for the remnants of the Shuja'iyya and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods, all the way to Izbat Abd Rabbuh, forcing residents to flee once again.
The daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip indicated that 26 martyrs and 106 wounded arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours.
The death toll since March 18, 2025, has reached 1,542 martyrs and 3,940 wounded.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 50,912 martyrs and 115,981 wounded since October 7, 2023.
