Gaza - Saba:
The government media office in Gaza warned on Monday of the serious Zionist enemy plans aimed at controlling humanitarian aid, and imposing more policies of starvation and siege on more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, in light of the ongoing aggression and genocide crimes that civilians are exposed to.
The office affirmed in a statement that the enemy has continued to close the crossings for more than a month and a half, and prevents the introduction of food, medicine, and shelters, in a clear violation of the provisions of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions, which obligate the enemy's strength to secure the needs of the population under its control.
The media office stressed its categorical rejection of the enemy's attempts to circumvent the international law by restricting the distribution of humanitarian aid and seeking to impose illegal mechanisms that are subject to relief work for enemy agendas, stressing that the use of security companies and suspicious groups for this purpose is rejected colonial behavior.
It added that the competent authorities in Gaza monitors these suspicious attempts closely, and will take appropriate measures to thwart them and protect the people's right to humanitarian aid in accordance with the legal international frameworks.
The United Nations Media Office, in its capacity as the international reference in the Relief Department of the Population under the enemy, called for fully responsible responsibilities in overseeing the distribution of aid in neutrality and independence, and within the criteria of transparency and accountability.
It also called on the international community not to allow any illegal or biased party to tamper with the humanitarian file in Gaza.
The Office concluded by certainly that any interference outside the international legitimacy in the aid file will not be allowed, and will face it by all possible means, in order to preserve the human dignity of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness in the face of the siege and aggression.
