Dhamar - SABA:
The Head of Customs Authority, Engineer Adel Margham, inspected the workflow of the customs clearance team in Damt District of Al-Dhale' Governorate. The team is tasked with facilitating procedures for traders' and importers' trucks along the recently reopened Aden-Al-Dhale'-Sana'a route, in implementation of the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister, His Eminence Mohammed Miftah.
Engineer Margham reviewed the initial inspection, clearance, and transfer procedures for traders' and importers' trucks heading to Dhamar Governorate.
Following this, the Head of Customs Authority visited the Customs Center of Dhamar Governorate, where he observed the workflow and was briefed by officials on the solutions and measures taken to facilitate and simplify the movement of goods and commercial trucks, as well as the provision of customs services to traders. This ensures the smooth flow of essential goods by land, guaranteeing their availability in the local market.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Engineer Margham praised the efforts of the customs personnel and their commitment to carrying out their duties to the fullest despite the difficult circumstances the country is experiencing.
He emphasized the keenness of the Customs Authority to cooperate with all relevant parties to overcome the obstacles resulting from the damage inflicted on the transport and port infrastructure due to direct targeting by the aggression.
