Medellin – Saba: At the closing ceremony of the 35th Medellin International Poetry Festival in Medellin, Colombia, 46 poets from around the world signed a statement in solidarity with Palestine and rejecting the genocide and cultural extermination in Gaza and throughout Palestine. They also called for an end to the war, the lifting of the siege on Gaza, and an end to the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people.
This announcement came in the context of the widespread solidarity of poets worldwide with Palestine, who raised their voices loud and clear in support of Palestine and its just cause, and in rejection of the occupation and its daily assassination of Palestine and its people.
