The second oil field under US supervision was attacked following a new wave of drone attacks in northern Iraq.
Sources in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced that, in the context of recent developments, the second oil field in Iraq, operated by US companies, was attacked by a drone, completely halting its daily production of 200,000 barrels of oil.
The same sources indicated that this is the second attack in the past two days, raising concerns about the stability of energy supplies and regional security.
It is worth noting that the targeted oil field is one of the main sources of oil production in Iraq under the supervision of US companies.
