The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that 122 Ukrainian drones were downed in the southwest of the country and the Crimean Peninsula last night.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement, "Several regions were subjected to these attacks, and 122 drones were destroyed, including 43 over Bryansk, 38 over Kursk, 10 over Oryol, 6 over Smolensk, 6 over Voronezh, 5 over Belgorod, 3 over the Moscow region, 3 over Kaluga, 3 over the Republic of Crimea, 2 over Leningrad, 2 over Lipetsk, and 1 over Tula."
Kyiv is using attack drones and artillery shelling against civilians and civilian facilities in Russia in an attempt to disrupt the Russian special military operation, which has been ongoing since February 24, 2022.
