Hodeidah - Saba:
Al-Sukhna District in Al-Hodeidah Governorate witnessed a student march and solidarity stand on Wednesday, organized by the education sector in the district, to denounce the systematic starvation , genocide being inflicted on the Palestinian people in Gaza amidst shameful international silence and blatant regional complicity.
Students marched through the streets of the district center, waving the Yemeni and Palestinian flags and holding signs expressing growing public outrage over the brutal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against civilians in Gaza. The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding urgent action to break the siege and stop the massacres.
The march, which saw broad participation from educators and notable student engagement, reflected the deep awareness of the younger generation and its natural connection to the causes of the Muslim Ummah—foremost among them, the Palestinian cause, which remains a symbol of justice and dignity for the entire Islamic world.
Participants affirmed that the ongoing starvation and mass killing in Gaza constitute a full-fledged humanitarian crime, orchestrated by an international coalition led by the U.S., executed by Zionist tools, and covered by complicit Arab regimes that have sold their conscience to a criminal entity.
A statement issued during the march declared that the silence of Arab and Islamic governments in the face of the suffering in Gaza is a religious and national betrayal, exposing the moral collapse of regimes that claim Arab and Islamic identity.
The statement added that weak official stances have emboldened the Zionist enemy to escalate its crimes. It emphasized that free nations can overturn the balance of power if they act with awareness and independent will, free from subjugation and dependency. It called for an escalation of comprehensive economic boycotts against all companies and products that support the Zionist entity, considering it a people-led battle and an effective tool to weaken the enemy and its sponsors—especially in light of the failure of official arms.
The statement stressed the importance of instilling a culture of resistance among youth and students through curricula, activities, and school events, as well as intensifying awareness efforts in support of Palestine to ensure the issue remains alive in the consciousness of future generations.
It also urged broad participation in the upcoming celebrations of the Prophet’s birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi), describing it as a significant educational occasion to revive Prophetic values, strengthen faith identity, and inspire determination to confront the enemies of the Ummah. The statement concluded by asserting that following the path of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) is the true path to victory over invaders and aggressors and to building a strong nation capable of defending its causes and sanctities.
