SA'ADA June 12. 2023 (Saba)-Students of the summer courses in Sa'ada district inaugurated the cultivation of 260,000 fruitful seedlings of grapes, pomegranates and guavas, as a community initiative, sponsored by the province's Agricultural Committee, the Agriculture and Irrigation Office, and Bunyan Development Foundation.
The deputy governor for services affairs, Saleh Oqab, confirmed during the inauguration, which was attended by the Director General of Community Initiatives, Abdul Ghani Al-Razhi, the Director of the Agriculture Office in the Directorate, Jamil Jardan, and the Knights of Development, the Undersecretary of the province for Services Affairs, Saleh Oqab, confirmed that the cultivation of fruitful seedlings by students of the summer courses reflects the great interest in agriculture achieving sustainability and self-sufficiency in various crops.
He pointed out that cultivating fruitful seedlings requires great effort and care, enhancing its growth factors, and developing agricultural plans to achieve the desired goals.
In turn, the coordinator of Bunyan Foundation in the province, Saad Khalil, explained that the success of cultivating various field crops depends on choosing the appropriate type of pots and plants and providing the appropriate conditions, in addition to taking care of irrigation and nutrition.
