OCCUPIED Al-QUDS October 14.2023 (Saba) - The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth revealed on Saturday that the majority of the residents of the Sderot settlement evacuated during the last days, while Ashkelon seemed like a ghost town as the rapists left it during the past days.
The newspaper reported that "Sderot's population is 36,000 settlers, 26,000 of whom evacuated the settlement and moved to live in hotels in the central area, fearing that the scenario of its storming by Al-Qassam fighters would be repeated."
She pointed out that the same scenario was repeated with the settlers of Ashkelon, who migrated for fear of being stormed by Al-Qassam fighters or continued being bombarded with missiles. Until the end of the seventh day during the Battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood,” the city received more than 1,000 missiles.
The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades announced in multiple messages to the enemy that “displacement comes with displacement.” They called on the residents of Ashkelon to go to shelters several times, while the Qassams continued to demolish the city on a daily basis.
