Sana'a-Saba:
The junior national football team will participate in the AFC U-17 qualifiers for the 2025 AFC Asian Cup from 19 to 27 October 2024. The tournament host Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, and Vietnam, were in Group E.

The junior national team is scheduled to play its first match against Myanmar next Wednesday, followed by a second match against Kyrgyzstan next Friday, and the final game with Vietnam will be next Sunday in the championship competition.

The team that finishes first in each of the ten groups, along with the five best second-placed teams, will qualify from the Asian qualifiers to the Asian Cup finals.

The junior national team, under the guidance of its technical staff, including national coach Captain Samer Fadl, his assistant Captain Ali Al-Nono, fitness coach Captain Walid Al-Nuzaili, and goalkeepers coach Captain Muhammad Derham, underwent a preparatory phase. This phase included an internal camp in the capital, Sana'a, and trial matches against local clubs to assess the players' abilities and select the final roster.

He also participated in an overseas camp in Muscat, the capital of Oman, where a friendly match against the Omani team concluded in a positive draw, with each side scoring a goal.

The national junior team roster comprises 23 players, listed as follows:
