Madrid - Saba:
The fourth round of the UEFA Champions League kicks off today, Tuesday, with all eyes turning to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, where the defending champions, Real Madrid, will host AC Milan.

Real Madrid, who beat Borussia Dortmund (5-2) in their last match in the competition, will be desperate to win against Milan in order to return to the competition for the places that directly qualify for the round of 16.

On the other hand, Milan, who secured their first victory in the competition in the last round at the expense of Club Brugge (3-1), will be looking for a positive result against Real Madrid to boost their chances of going far in the competition.

Meanwhile, the Anfield Stadium will host Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen in a mouth-watering clash. The match is expected to witness a fierce competition between the two teams, especially as the winner will temporarily top the table, as Liverpool is in second place with nine points on goal difference behind Aston Villa, while Leverkusen is in sixth place with seven points, on goal difference behind Manchester City, Monaco and Stade Brest.

In the rest of today's matches, Portugal's Sporting Lisbon play Manchester City, Netherlands' Eindhoven play Spain's Girona, Slovakia's Slovan Bratislava play Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb, Scotland's Celtic play Germany's Leipzig, France's Lille play Juventus, Italy's Bologna play Monaco, and Germany's Borussia Dortmund play Austria's Sturm Graz.

The current edition of the UEFA Champions League will be played in a new system by replacing the group stage with a league system, where each team will play eight matches, with the top eight teams advancing to the round of 16, while the teams that ranked ninth to 24th will play playoff matches, with the eight winning teams from the playoffs advancing to the round of 16.
