Beirut - Saba:
The Lebanese Caretaker Ministry of Public Health emphasized that the Zionist enemy's insistence on repeatedly targeting health workers is a reflection of dangerous malevolent violations.
In a statement on Saturday, the ministry stressed that it is the international community's minimum duty to put an end to these targets to ensure respect for international humanitarian laws , not to leave the field open for the law of violence and extermination.
It said: "A paramedic in the Islamic Mission Scouts Association in Burj Rahal was martyred at dawn today by being directly targeted by the Zionist enemy during his rescue work to pull out a wounded person, while an enemy raid on a paramedic team of the Islamic Health Authority during rescue work in Kfartabnit led to the martyrdom of a paramedic and the injury of four other paramedics, while two others are still missing."
The ministry reiterated its condemnation of these barbaric attacks on paramedics during their humanitarian and rescue work, which shows an unprecedented scale of violence that leaves no room for human values.
The Zionist enemy has committed a series of massacres against ambulance and rescue teams in Lebanon, the most recent of which was the targeting of the Civil Defense Center in the town of Dours, which led to the martyrdom of 13 paramedics, including the head of the center.
According to the latest Lebanese data, the number of paramedic victims of the Zionist aggression against Lebanon reached 208 martyrs and 311 wounded, and the number of medical vehicles targeted reached 249, while 66 attacks on hospitals, 90 attacks on medical , ambulatory centers, and 220 attacks on ambulatory associations were recorded.
